The Argentine Congress on Computer Science has become the most relevant annual academic event in the field, organized by the RedUNCI - University Computer Science National Network. It covers all significant topics in Computer Science, including but not limited to:

CALL FOR PAPERS IN THE TOPICS SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING WORKSHOPS:
IX WORKSHOP ON INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS AND AGENTS VIII WORKSHOP ON DISTRIBUTED AND PARALLEL PROCESSING VII WORKSHOP ON COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO EDUCATION VI WORKSHOP ON GRAPHIC COMPUTING, IMAGES, AND VISUALIZATION V WORKSHOP ON SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND DATA BASES III WORKSHOP ON ARCHITECTURES, NETWORKS, AND OPERATING SYSTEMS
Workshops are organized and coordinated by experts. Each has its own program expert committee. Workshops aim to gather researchers from the field of focus. They have become a core component of CACIC. Papers submitted will be rigorously reviewed.
IMPORTANT DATES CACIC AND WORKSHOP SUBMISSION Submission Deadline for Final Papers: July, 14th, 2008 Notices to Authors on Paper Acceptance or Denial: September 1-5, 2008
SUBMISSION DETAILS Articles may be submitted to the Congress or to a workshop. In case of workshop submission, authors should indicate the workshop name. Congress Coordinators of the Events will distribute the papers for adequate review. Papers reviewed with recommendations will be selected and will be submitted for international publication. ONLY PDF format will be accepted. Papers should be submitted through the Congress Webpage. Each author will receive a reference number through e-mail which may be used to check paper acceptance or rejection.
SUBMISSION DETAILS Language for Workshop and Congress: Spanish, English, or Portuguese. Paper Size: A4 (21x29,7 cm) (8.7’’x11.7’’) Length: papers must not exceed 12 pages. The abstract should contain up to 200 words. Margins: upper 3,5 cm; lower, right and left 2 cm. Format: justified text, unnumbered pages. Font: Times Roman 12 for text and Arial 14 for titles. The first page must include: title, author/s full name/s, affiliation and addresses, abstract and a keyword list. CALL FOR COURSE PROPOSALS AT THE XII INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER SCIENCE SCHOOL
The goal of the International Computer School is to offer courses for advanced undergraduate or graduate students from members of the RedUNCI as well as other institutions and professionals. Courses cover core and advanced topics of Computer Science. Course proposals must be submitted to the School Director by e-mail and should include title, syllabus, course requirements, course size, required equipment, bibliography, and evaluation policies. Lecturer resume must be included. Lecturers will be notified of the review results. IMPORTANT DATES Submission Deadline for Course Proposals at the International School: June 6th, 2008 Acceptance Notice Deadline: July 4th, 2008 Student Registration: Beginning August 15th, 2008 Registration Notice: September 12th, 2008
